July 31st 2009---Pointe Conception Introduces New Camera Head--ACQUIRE-1.0C
Pointe Conception Medical announces the availability of a c-mount version of the Acquire line of camera heads. The ACQUIRE-1.0C provides the same high quality imaging of the ACQUIRE-1.0 25mm fixed focal length version but allows the use of multiple adapters with a variety of focal lengths. The ACQUIRE-1.0C camera head can also be integrated with a surgical microscope, delivering the same features of the EndoHub cameras to an even wider range of medical professionals.
June 18th, 2009---PCM introduces new LightRay™ HD Endoscope Line
Pointe Conception Medical announces the introduction of nine variations of Hysteroscopes, Laparoscopes, Endoscopes and Arthroscopes for the surgical and physician’s office markets. The scopes have been optimized for high sensitivity, field flatness and resolution for high definition cameras and displays. Additionally, PC-Medical's quality system has been recently re-certified to manufacture the new Class II devices.
May 12th, 2009---PCM introduces new LED MicroDirect™ Light source and Touchscreen Monitor
Pointe Conception Medical announces the introduction of a battery operated LED light source and live video touch screen LCD monitor for the physician’s office market. The light source provides over 40 minutes of illumination, mounts directly to the light post of the scope and delivers as much light as a 50Watt xenon light source.
Pointe Conception Medical also announces the availability of a touch screen display for the EndoHub camera controller. The high definition (1280x1024) LCD touch screen is used to display the live surgical as well as the configuration menu for easy setup before the procedure. No additional monitor or keyboard is required for a clutter free working environment in a small doctor's office space.
